What a month, or two, or three

Posted on Jul 18 , 2007 in Thoughts

The last few months have been hard for me to return to my blog for much other than posting links. So sorry faithful readers (mom's dead, so that leaves Cathy), but I've been busy.

There is the judge scandal that so many of you have managed to comment on and expand upon. Thanks for keeping up with the news. That issue ate my lunch in May and most of June. So as for missing most of July, I can only say that I needed to concentrate on all of the work I hadn't finished.

There's the annual report - ah, the annual report, which was due in April, and even then it was late. Starting to make some progress on getting it ready for the printer. Maybe the end of the month.

I should really spend some time reorganizing a few things. Maybe in August.

And I should get back to thinking about this blog and posting more interesting things than links to Open Source software and fluffy links to fun and games.

The end of the month is the annual Conference of Court Public Information Officers in Columbus, Ohio, which should lead to some interesting discussions. In the meantime, I'll attempt to shake off the 117-degree temperatures and let the brain do some pondering. I promise it will be interesting.
