Life 2.0

Posted on Apr 01 , 2007 in Thoughts

A power blackout in a two-mile section of northwest Las Vegas halted all communication, dropped television and satellite programming, canceled Wi-Fi and Internet traffic and placed an entire community in a state of panic for a four-hour period Sunday morning.?Ç After an initial 48-minutes of frustration, hand-wringing and sailor language, silence and an eternal peace soon spread throughout the community.?Ç Neighbors were seen visiting and talking about their gardens, a couple was seen holding hands, children were swinging in a corner park and a woman was seen reading a Carl Hiaasen novel while humming in a rocking chair on her porch.

Life rediscovered.?Ç Life 2.0.
