A weeklong blog event will lead up to the PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter's live seminar on ?¢‚Ǩ?ìThe Tools and Tactics of PR Blogging?¢‚Ǩ¬ù scheduled for June 23 in UNLV's Tam Alumni Center. The LV PR Blog will feature local posts on blogging and blog tactics starting tomorrow morning (June 19, 2006).
The seminiar will be taught by Al Gibes (The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Online Guy) and myself. Attendees will learn what blogs are and why they should care. They?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ll also learn how to create an effective blog and get tips on how to promote a blog so that the audience knows how to find it. In addition, we will talk about where blogs are headed and how they are changing the way we practice public relations.
We've lined up some excellent examples of local blogging and likely will run out of time before our live seminar ends, so hopefully, the LV PR Blog will allow us to showcase blogging and blog tools, tactics and strategies. If all goes well, we'll also show how blogging allows PR to create feedback loops, develop interactive surveys and enhance communication. I hope many of the PR bloggers will stop in and offer their own remarks and comments on blogging and public relations.

Hi,
I just came and stumbled upon this blog because the title interests me. However, I just wished, the content is more interesting. I was expecting it to be something about the tactics and tools about PR blogging and not a sequence of events. I guess, your thoughts and reactions would really mean something here…
Did you check out the other blog? It contained some very interesting comments and posts.
