A year ago I co-taught a workshop on social media with my friend Al Gibes, The Online Guy at the Las Vegas Review-Journal.?Ç We covered everything from RSS Feeds to Blogs to Podcasting.?Ç Sort of a kitchen sink-styled adventure.?Ç And while there was a lot of initial enthusiasm, not too many people caught the fever.
I'm happy to report a new patient is getting sick with Blog Fever.?Ç The PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter recently started its first blog with a decidedly local viewpoint about public relations.?Ç I'm pleased to say that the content has been worthwhile these first few weeks.?Ç The participation level is lacking, but that will certainly pick up once a few more people learn about it.?Ç I'm anticipating the rest of the world will soon see we have some very knowledgeable and influential people working in the profession.
