Every year I take stock. Sort of shake out the cobwebs. As I’ve gotten older, it seems more imperative to plan for the future; really think about what I want to be accomplishing.?Ç I tend to dabble. Check things out and bounce from interest to interest. We used to call that hyperactive, but I suppose today it’s known as an attention disorder.?Ç DaVinci might have labeled me as just being curious.

I’ve decided to start exploring different things on my blog besides just public relations. There are far better public relations blogs and this isn’t one of them. I have other interests and ideas. I like to discuss the art of communication. I enjoy writing things besides press releases. I feel I’m a pretty good cook and my kids would agree. Essentially, there is more to the WordyMouth guy than just persuasion and media strategy.

My New Year’s Wish is to find happiness in various places. To explore many ideas and discover new things.?Ç I’m going to start worrying less about work and spend more time enjoying myself.?Ç I plan to share some of my discoveries, my thoughts and my projects with you.

And if it turns out I’m only sharing with one person, then perhaps I will be better for it.
